Traditional or Super Sacred Valley: which day tour to choose?

Same guide, same group size, same lunch. The routes, the start time and US$2 are what change.

In short

The difference, in short

The Traditional (US$30, 10–11 hours, pickup 07:20) visits the Taray viewpoint, Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero. Super Sacred Valley (US$32, 11–12 hours, pickup 06:20) drops Taray and adds the Maras salt mines and the Moray terraces. Group size, guide and lunch are the same.

Pick Super Sacred Valley to see the whole valley in one day; pick the Traditional for a later start and longer visits.

No. The Traditional starts in Pisac and ends in Chinchero; Super Sacred Valley starts in Chinchero and ends in Pisac. Both stop for lunch in Urubamba and visit Ollantaytambo at 14:15.

No. Both are shared groups of 17–18 travelers at most, with a certified English and Spanish guide and the buffet lunch at Rustica included.

Super Sacred Valley: 11 to 12 hours, from 06:20 to about 19:00. The Traditional lasts 10 to 11 hours, from 07:20 to about 18:30. Ending in Ollantaytambo, both finish at 15:30.

Both need the partial Cusco Tourist Ticket (Traditional: Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero; Super Sacred Valley: Chinchero, Moray, Ollantaytambo, Pisac). Super Sacred Valley also needs the Maras salt mines entrance. On either tour, add them in the Add-ons step when you book.
